The Google Pixel introduced a number of new software features alongside its announcement, and one such feature was an updated version of the Google Phone app. This update to the dialer app brought along a completely overhauled UI, a new incoming call screen, and a built-in service that detects spam calls.
In the most recent update to Google Phone, calling an emergency number, such as 911, will show your current location on the call screen. Along with a little preview of where you are on Google Maps, you'll also see the address of your location and the exact latitude and longitude if you need to get really specific about where you're at.
This new addition to emergency calls is part of Google Phone version 10.1.161735957, and if you don't want to wait for the update to hit your phone over the air.
