I have an old Moto G2 which worked perfectly with my Alcatel smartwatch.
I just bought the new moto g4 (amazon version but ads and bloat removed tvyvm rootjunkie)
Now the new moto G will connect to the smartwatch and it will work for a while, but the bluetooth connection is very unstable and disconnects all the time.
The old phone was running cyanogenmod 14 (android 6)
Comparing the system apps of the two devices, the "bluetooth share" apps are the version (6.0.1) BUT THE OLD CM moto G2 has an additional bluetooth called "bluetooth extentions" {org.codeaurora.bluetooth) which isnt present on the new G4.
I extracted the .apk from the old phone and tried to sideload onto the new one but it didn't install so it must be device specific
Any ideas how to get this working?
