Help with my Note 3 please, odin auth error

Hi
I have a note 3 which came from ebay, the phone info app said it was an N9005 which matched the about section in settings however recovery shows it as a 900A so that is now my understanding. I was trying to get a customer recovery installed and tried many different tar's through odin but as yet I have been unable to flash anything through odin due to the auth error, depending on the tar whether a customer recovery or a stock rom the result is always the same. I managed to root the phone actually on the phone using the 'let it rain' method which I then checked with root checker and all was good. I selected a customer recovery and attempted to flash from there but upon reboot got a message suggesting incompatible software had been installed, please speak to my nearest AT&T store, I am in the UK and the original rom suggested it was from Saudi Arabia. I then tried to flash another stock rom (for the 900A), that removed the message but now I cannot get past the samsung logo. The phone is in A1 condition so would be a real shame to throw in the bin, can anyone help me get this back up and running. My options are limited as I dont have a customer recovery installed and cannot get into the phone additionally as i said odin always fails, I have tried 3 cables. :(

HELP!
