Redmi Note 2 Root/Bootloader

Hello everybody. Today i got new Redmi Note 2. Switched from Redmi 2 Prime. With Redmi 2 everything was easy, I mean root, not locked bootloader. And now i dont know, does the Redmi Note 2 have locked bootloader? How can i check it? Can i use this tutorial FROM PART 2? http://ift.tt/1P3zpyx
