Google Pixelbook v2 may launch alongside the Google Pixel 3

Google's Fall hardware event is shaping up to be one of the most exciting events this year from an OEM. With three Pixel-branded smartwatches set to release alongside the Google Pixel 3/Pixel 3 XL and new Pixel Buds, you'd think that would be enough. But no, Google isn't stopping there, as known leaker Evan Blass has also said there may be a brand new Pixelbook with smaller bezels announced too.

We've been watching out for the new Chromebooks on the horizon, and we don't know which device could be the one Google is set to announce. Either way, it's out of character for Google given that this would break the two-year release cycle they've followed. Typically, one is released every two years since 2013, but this is breaking that trend. The company may feel that they have something new to show off. There's a Qualcomm-powered "cheza"Chromebook on the way, one with Sony cameras, and another with seemingly high-end specs on the way. Whichever one it may be, it's looking to be absolutely killer.

We know Google is taking hardware seriously this year. While everybody expected the Pixel 3 this year, three separate smartwatches and a Pixelbook shows that the company means business. There are a lot of great Chromebooks that it could be, all of which have their own pros and cons over others. When the Pixelbook was announced last year, it was immediately available for purchase. Interestingly, Evan Blass simply says that it would ship "before the end of the year" which is a more uncertain timeline than usual. Regardless, the latest Pixelbook is one of the best on the market today and we're sure those in the market for a Chromebook will love its successor.
